WebGUI is the most widely deployed Perl-based web application framework on the planet. Come learn how to use WebGUI, and write plug-ins for it in this 4 hour completely FREE workshop. We'll install it on your laptop, show you the user interface, and teach you how to write your own plug-ins. We'll cover WebGUI's API and discuss all 19 ways you can extend WebGUI's functionality without breaking any APIs or destroying your upgrade path. This workshop is hands-on Perl programming, so you do need some Perl knowledge, but you won't need to be an expert. We'll show you just how easy and fun it can be to write powerful web apps.

We'll also be giving away cool free t-shirts to all that attend this workshop!

NOTE: The time slotted for this session is roughly 4 hours, which is the maximum time the session will take. But depending on the number of people that show up, and their individual competence levels with Perl, the session could be much shorter than 4 hours.
