Economics Experiments with Dancer

Economics experiments are games based on economic models where participants interact under controlled conditions and are paid in real money according to the outcome of the game. The outcome of the game is determined by the decisions of all players.

Web based experiments are attractive for both teaching and research purposes because they obviate the need to hold the experiment in a fixed physical location.

I will use Dancer to implement a simple experiment focusing on the advantages of using such a lightweight web application framework rather than trying to work within the confines of a standard web server.

PS: If you have a web enabled smart phone, please do bring it to the talk.
