Perl Object-Oriented Persistence with Tangram and UML

An introduction to mapping an object hierarchy to a relational
database management system with Tangram. Object Relational data
mapping is described, and compared with serialisation as a mean of
persisting application state. UML class modelling is briefly
introduced; along with a scheme for converting those UML designs to
Perl classes and Tangram schemas via Class::Tangram.
