This is an overview of Parrot, the virtual machine we're building to
run Perl 6, Perl 5, Python, Ruby, and z-machine code. Parrot is a
register-based, bytecode driven, asynchronous, event-capable, threaded
VM with a built-in Just In Time compiler. This talk will give a brief
overview of the engine itself, then show you the current state of
parrot--what works, what doesn't work yet, and what we're planning for
the future.
